Just wondering how important temp is right now for kings. You are looking for 55 degrees right. Yesterday temps seemed to around 55 in certain depths and then would change get warmer when you went out deaper at the depth. How does that work

Temp not important for stagging kings. For the non-matures, hang around the thermocline. Water currents stir the water. It's not uncommon to find all kinds of "goofy" temps. This time of year, water near shore will all be one temp from top to bottom. As you go out, you'll generally find an area where they go completely "goofy", then as you go out more, it stabilizes.
