My dad (Georged) and I got out at about 12:30. Lots of false hits from floating weeds... I got a 30 incher at around 2. My first musky ever!!!!!! At about 3:30 we decided to cast and my dad got about a 15 inch musky....hahaha. The 30 incher came on a jointed rapala, over 27FOW, 10 feet down....

Way to go,congrats are in order  ...try running down rods to minumize fouling from weeds. This will allow you to get a longer troll. That way the rod loads up with weeds and not your lure giving you a better presentation.Although you`ll still have to check your action and pull in to clean off once in awhile.Sometimes you can clean a lure by simply ripping your rod fwd and feel for your action, otherwise i just pullup rod ,clean off and reset.
