SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

We planned on going out this morning, but the rough water kept us in until the afternoon. Started in 80 fow, very cold water, very little marks, so I headed north. At the 200' area just west of the river, I started seeing lots, and I mean lots of bait about 20-30' down. There was also a ton of seagulls out there as well. Had only one hit, but it was good to see marks and bait. Down temp. "warmed up" to 49 degrees down 55'. Wound up trolling east zig-zagging between 200 and 250', with scattered marks and bait pods between 20 and 50 fow. Lots of marks on the bottom over 200 fow - I presume they're kings.

The fish was a nice steelhead, about 10# or so, but it had very little fight in it.

We'll be at it one more time, then pull the boat and head off to the woods.....

Good luck to all,

- Chris
