SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS have any salmon been caught yet near the black river or is the majority of fish still farther out in the trench. i was thinking of trying sackets on the upcoming weekend? any point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

was in the trench sunday from 6 til 1 had 2 knock offs on the meat rigs in 75 fow 50 down on the rigger fish were scattered from 40 to 120 feet down was about 20 boats there so i guess it was just an off day for me..... heard there are fish over in front of stony creek in 50-70 fow but i didnt go that way

wow, thanks for the reply antex 59. were you up into dexter or near the bay? i will be up there this weekend with my freind and two youth's and i would realy like to get them their first salmon. any more info you might have would be verry helpful. i was hoping to be able to get into some fish in close rather than running out to the trench and based on your report it certianly sounds like that will be worth a try.
