SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

There is a lot of bait in the river mouth and several salmon were visible slashing the water. At the end of the pier where the river water mixes in with the lake I got the brown on a monkey puke (gobi)lure and after some circling in the river mouth I went to 70 feet where there were big bait pods with big fish in tow.The bait was at 62 feet and at 35 to 45 feet. The 2 year old kings came in on the mountain dew at 40 feet and the laker

(a 10 pounder) came in on a black ss dream weaver.

There was a very clear temperature break at 40 feet down in the 70 fow area.

Way to go Rolmops!

My lake boat is already out of the water :(

I will be fishing out of a smaller boat from now till the bay freeze over.

I'll be chasing perch and pike in there before too long myself.Come to think of it, perch fishing is very relaxing compared to solo salmon hunting.
