Wow just when you think you have seen some antics at the launch. You go to Sandy Creek on Labor Day and you will see people almost as smart as that guy. Maybe the guy just wanted to fish THAT bad. We have all been there..... ;)

How many miles before the ramp did the tire come off? I can't believe that little log got in his way, it could have spilled the beer and spoiled the whole day though so it's better to be safe than sorry. Good to see that he didn't un-hook the boat till he reached the water, properly tied it off, launched and got off the ramp quickly so others could launch, very considerate. Thanks for passing along the instructional how-to video Stan, if that ever happens to me I'll know now that I don't have to fix the trailer before I fish. Do you have the other part of the video when he comes back to launch??

WOW.....I think that about somes it up. Keep this guy in mind next time your hauling to the launch,,,they live among us. As a matter of fact I think most of them sail out of Ithaca.

what I thought was most interesting was the fact that he had a spare trailer tire sitting there on the bracket on the trailer.

I've seen bunk trailers, roller trailers but this is the first I ever saw a dragging trailer.

45 miles up a dirt road to get to a 100 yd long paved launch?

Probably time to replace the bearings on that side anyway...and the axle...and the fender...and the lights...

I was thinking the same thing, but I like the guys commitment. He would not be denied.
