ST - Welcome to the board. Nice fish. This weather will bring them in. (Also should help with the water flows and spawning success.)

I heard you guys screamin Fish On! the whole night. We didn't catch a thing out in front of the yacht club in the boat. I've got to ask, was there more success with sacs on the bottom, or floaters on the surface? We tried both with no success. I wanted to start throwing spoons but the rain was demoralizing.... I'm going to give the Genny a shot this afternoon.

when fishing sandy creek i tend to use the Carolina rig with with about a 3ft leader line with floating sacks. some will use mono line but I prefer braided 20 or 30 lb. as far as hook size goes, bigger is "NOT" always better. #4 egg hook is what I use mostly but have had success with #6. good luck.
