Fishtails Posted October 4, 2009 Author Posted October 4, 2009 It's going to be a long wait for the April fishing Maybe for you, but I keep the boat out well into November for Ocean striper fishing
janz Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I always lied heading up as I'm looking at the chart. Less to think about as its telling me where I'm heading, less to interpret. If I'm heading in towards the breakwall I want to see it coming towards the boat, just seems much simpler that way.
Iceman Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I was speaking of salmon on lake Ontario, you know, the kind you & child are holding. normally, my last outings on local upstate NY lakes are usually in late November/December, as I have an outboard powered boat & keep it in a heated garage. I have been on the finger lakes, Oneida Lake & lake Ontario as late as the Xmas/ New years week, just depends on the weather.
Big Dave Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 North up!!!! That spinning map is to distracting, esp. in the unit in the truck.
