Port Bay

Going to be in Port Bay over the upcoming weekend and wanted to take my kids out fishing weather permitting. I am not familiar with the area. Any trout/salmon fishing this time of year? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Andy

The fishing has been slow the last couple of weeks. Our last time out was 0 for 0. The time before, 1 for 1.

Watch out for your prop going out of the channel. There was less than three feet of water on the lake side, and its still falling.

Andy the channel should be ok for now as it was cleaned up this last Saturday. But the wind there talking for the rest of this week might change that.

As Jim said above the fishing the past few weeks has been relatively slow.
