Storing vinyl windows

My boat has a bimini top and has the zip on vinyl side windows. When I bought the boat the previous owner had some type of cloth he kept between them when he rolled them up and put in their storage bag. The windows are probably 10 years old and still are clear as new. Do they make a special material for this?

I just use old towles or a sheet. I hang them on a rope in the garage all winter.

.....also, an ironing board is an excellent base to clean them on in the Spring or before you put them away for the season.

Here is how I have my side and drop curtains stored in my garage

Used 2 pieces of 1x3 strips of wood screwed them into the wall, bought a package of the snaps that were used on the curtains. Marked on the wood where the snaps would have to go and then nailed the male snaps where they had to go and the female snaps where they had to go onto the strips of wood. Works great keeps them from getting any wrinkles from being rolled or folded.

Just make sure you have them hung far enough above the floor so that they don't touch the floor
