We caught this LL in Aug off of Oak Orchard. He weighed 11 lbs on my spring scale. Sorry for the poor pic quality, only had the camera phone that day.

Nice Atlantics! We caught a nice pair yesterday on Cayuga Lake but they only went 5-6lbs, still they were great fighters right up to the net!

Ours came on one of my white/pearl crinkle flys behind a wonderbread spinny on the 300' copper.

Heres our biggest to date. He took a red NK 2D flatlined off wilson last May.

I rarely get Atlantics on my deep coppers on the FLX, usually they are feeding around 55-40', I did get a couple of 3-4lbers up high targeting Steelies out of Port Bay in early June out over 300'.

Nice fish guys. The only Atlantic I've ever gotten was a slob I caught off the olcott pier at night in September of 1994 on an egg sack. Jumped like crazy, lot of fun. That was a beautiful male in full spawning trim, big kyped up jaw. He was 34 inches and a weighed 14 1/2 lbs.

It was such a pretty fish, the guy I was fishing with wanted to get it mounted, so unfortunately we kept it, and then he ended up not freezing it properly and the fins freezer burned and he never did end up taking it to the taxidermist

No pictures unfortunately, that was before digital cameras and I never brought my nice 35mm Minolta SLR out on the pier. Wish I at least had some pics now, as he sounds like it was one of the bigger atlantics caught on the lake in recent times.

Sounds like a biggie. It's the only species I've ever caught that will kill themselves in 5 min from fighting so hard. On cayuga they're pretty dominant due to high stocking. Great on 4lb, and they're doable all year. Caught 3 spawners in the stream today, and 2 on jigs in the lake .

We managed to land 2 nice ones this year, and dropped another right at the net.

Both were a little west of Braddocks in the 120 FOW region.

this is the only one we caught in lake ontario unfortunatly. in april in about 5 feet of water with jr thunderstick.

they should stock these more than kings imho.
