Better late than never?

I just got this picture from my fishing buddy Mike McCoy, and thought I'd share it with you, even if it wasn't a money fish.

I caught it on the first day of the fall derby. Mike and I were fishing out of Port Bay and took it on a NK Watermelon, just west of the channel in 90 FOW.

It weighed in at 28 lbs. 14 ozs., and held first place for about two and a half hours! From there, it was a steady down hill trip, until I fell below 20th about ten days later. Still, it was nice to see your name on the board for a little over a week!

At least I have something to look at until spring!!
