I have some Otter boards that I run with copper as well as in line boards, but do any of you guys run bigger boards for running two or three copper riggs off a side. I think I read an article in GLA that had mega boards that were used for several copper lines. If so can you buy them or do you have to make them? Sean

Captain Ernie's are home made. Probably could just just upsize most any good home made board recipe. I went to the triple Riveria boards the last two years and they will tow a couple of long coppers without any problems.

Those are awesome looking boards, Just a little big I think for my 20' boat. Could I be wrong on that thought?

Copper rigs are too expensive to replace if they get tangled. I will stick with one per side. Besides, the further out your boards are, the more chances some bonehead rec boater or sailboat will find them.

I would think running two coppers far out on the otters, and using inlines for the inside coppers you could keep them from tangling. I agree with Gambler on the tangle issue, never mind having to deploy four lines?????? I don't have enough patience for that.
