Help needed !!! Lowrance HDS 5x (Good or Bad)

Have a chance to pick this unit up pretty cheap. Don't know much about them allways used si-tec products. Any info would be great.

I have seen the 83khz images and the clarity is some of the best I've ever seen.

Erin......NO Lowarance electronics...........I speak from past experience & there is ZERO tech support when the unit fails.......Raymarine or Furuno.......... be in touch...captd

Cheap is 200.00 , here the picture is clear just didnt know the system for fishing the great lakes

I have the HDS 5 and the HDS 10 both have been great units. I only have one year on them.
