Has anyone fished the north end of Cayuga lake yet How is the ice and the bite ?

well i found out for myself the ice was about 6in and the bite was sloooow we got two perch in about 3 hours called it enought hope to get out someplace mext weekend

just seeing how the fish are bitting. and i had a ? my buddy has a camp just past wells collage and i wanted to know how far i had to go from there to get on ice to fish??

Cbass11, you would have to go north of Union springs I imagine. I may go up this weekend and would consider going ice fishing if there was enough ice. I am interested too.

check it good 2 guys went swimming in lamoka sat or sunday,,,but i think all this rain will make it a NO brainer.

they survived and are ok but they didnt jump in to get there gear so it might of been a little cold

Hey ray was that close to the baptist camp? What were they thinking that was still open as of last weekend.Wellers island was around 6in or so I was told. What is the difference between waneta and lamoka. Waneta had close to 10in. I was just curious why the thickness would vary that much.
