Canada Fishing info needed?

I am trying to put together a fishing trip in Ontario Canada, within a 7-10 hr drive from Rochester and need some recommendations on which outfitters to possibly book with. If anyone has a suggestion on which to choose from please let me know. I would prefer only recommendations from a place that you have personally gone too and experienced the fishing and services.

It's been too many years since I fished Canada within driving distance with an outfitter for me to give you recommendations, but when I was planning a trip two years ago (we ended up at Silver Water Wheel at Lac Seul) I found lots of information on Walleye Central. Most of the guys who posted didn't mind a quick phone call, either. Best of luck.

Horse Shoe Island Camp in Ontario. I have been there 5 or 6 times. The walleye fishing is excellent, along with the pike and smallmouth. It is inexpensive and the owners are wonderful. You can rent boats or bring your own. Good Luck.

We've been going to French River on and off since 1980; and continously since

the mid 90's. For us, we fish mostly pike, as we get all the walleye we need here

on Erie.
