we have been fishing the chaumont bay /henderson area in spring for pike and walleye.fall has been the trench for salmon. i want to try spring fishing for trout in the same area and dont really know what to run and where to start. we have riggers, boards, wire and copper rigs that we use for salmon and a hefty collection of spoons. im not looking for any secret's but i would greatly appreciate a point in the right direction and a good "program" to drag behind the boat.

thanks for any advice you can give

Kerchner,

I've done well the last several years catching browns and walleye off the same rigs working structure between Pillar Point and Black River Bay. You can usually find a temperature break in there, and when you do, mark it. We troll with spoons off the riggers and sometimes drift and jig. When its right, it can be real mixed bag fishing. I don't know of anywhere else that you can catch Walleye, Northerns and Browns on the same pass.
