I think Billy used a special marking pen last year. The shrink wrap and electrical tape will move eventually. Let's wait for Billy response.

I've been using a paint marker to mark my copper. It stays in place unlike tape or shrink tube, but you do need to touch it up once in a while or it wears off. White seems to show up pretty well, especially when the copper begins to darken after some use. Here's the link:

Testor's model paint pen in white works well. You can find them anyplace models are sold.

Anyone ever try liquid electrical tape?

I think liquid tape would wind up being bunched up in the eye of the reel. I could never find shrink tubing small enough to work well. I love the paint marker tip. thanks Bill.

Big-o, Yes you can use line counter reels. We have an tekota 800lc and love it, but I only have the one set up. If I had to go and buy 4 - 6 set ups I may not go the line counter route, but then again I've been known to change my mind.
