What was the estimated 2009 Chinny run in the Salmon River?

Just curious on what the estimated run size was for the Salmon River. Someone was so bold to say that certain runs have upward of 70K chinnies. So that was fiction from someone else and what I would appreciate is an honest run estimate as I couldn't find any info anywhere.

I didnt spend much time on the river this year ,the few times i was there it was a steady fair run with a lot of cohos it started out real slow with some banner runs the 2 nd and 3 rd week of sept..dont know why the cohos ran so early guess it was too crowded in the estuary ....

I know this as a friend who fishes the river everyday rain or shine keeps good tabs as to whats happening (all of sept)I never made it up after the 3 rd week in sept for the normal coho run. but i would say the overall numbers were good .
