Subject: Elk crossing the road

~~~~~ Teresa Binstock in CO. Mts. Saturday I drove from my house to Estes for a Holiday sale. On my way down the Forest service access road I pulled up behind a car with his flashers on and witnessed this most amazing elk migration. I was sorry I didn't bring my camera....but luckily one of my neighbors' daughter, Carrie Briscoe, did and made this recording. There were only 3 or 4 cars at this place at this time. I was lucky to be in one of them!!

As you watch this, you will realize that there is a patch of ice in the middle of the road where they are crossing.
