PB Crappie on Conesus

[Fishin With Phil]

Fished the north end of Conesus this afternoon. A little slower than last week. Thought I had a nice bass on the bluegill jig but after playin her for awhile I saw Spots!

15'' Crappie! Beat my 13''er from CA to make a new PB.

Ended up gettin another one but not as big. A few dozen bluegill ended out the day.

No pike. Did hear lots of hootin and hollerin though...

Very nice crappie Phil. They are in there but hard to pin point. Saw some of those slob crappies on the camera but could not get them to hit.

Well if Conesus is anything like Honeoye just fire up the lantern at dark and they come to you.

Nice one Phil. Glad to see you've been getting out. I've not been out in a few weeks myself. Makes me want to head over to Consesus at dusk. Big fat f'n eyes in that lake too from what I hear.

Yeah, I can get used to the crappie thing. Tasted damn good.

I don't ever hear about too many eyes comin through the ice at Conesus though...
