jpainting, kremer, and i went fishing today. we started out by the salt plant looking for landlocks which didnt take long until we hooked up. we ended up catching a couple of 5lbers back to back with big weenies proctologist fly & green dolphin spin dr. die hard, steelie dan and mix veggies spoons took a couple of landlocks as well. when we switch over to laker fishing thats when all hell broke loose, as the killer yellow fly, wreck'em and corn bread fly, did all the damage. we end up just shy of 40 total fish caught, and only 5 of them were dinks.

when i talked to chowder on the phone his crew was catching a lot of fish

if i wasnt out of town so much i would be using my boat. i have i/o just drain the engine when i done fishing.

all I can say is WOW what a day on the water!

on the water at 8 kinda slow for the first half an hour then bam, landlock after landlock, couple slammers too.

I'll get the pics up soon.

so we get tired (and our limit) of landlocks then go laker hunting. Like jason says all hell broke loose.

Doubles all over, just missed a triple by seconds as we boat a fish 2 rods go off.

Good quality today too as most of the lakers were over 24"
