State of the Lake meeting

Mark your calendars! The State of the Lake Meeting will be held on March 10, 2010 at RIT from 7pm to 10pm.

Anyone who has never been to one of these should take the time to attend this one. The DEC give out all thier data and you can ask whatever questions you'd like. One way for us lake fisherman to voice our opinion.

Some past years "State of the Lake" minutes are posted in the "Articles" section so you can get a feel of what the context of them is like. You will hear from the experts what's happening biologically and politically and how they prove it statistically. Many of LOU's members will be there trying to make a difference in how to shape the future of the fishery and trying to decifer what the experts are really saying. It should be a week long summit but it's crammed into just one fun-filled and informative night.

Its absolutely worth going to. I attend every year and it always proves to be both informative and very funny at times.

Anybody able to find the dates of the other 2 meetings that occur? I know they do 3 of these based on region.
