Hi,

Let me start of by saying that I appreciate any advice that I get through this site. Posters on here definitely know their "stuff" and I value that a great deal. I'm looking to book a charter out of Sodus Bay for the month of August. I'll be looking to target kings and any bonus trout available at this time of year. Who would you recommend as a charter out of this port? Thanks very much for any tips and advice!

I'll be the 3rd to strongly suggest Capt. Ryan Williamson if you want to fish out of Sodus...

Fishin' Magician charters...

Honestly, I bet he already has 30 trips booked in August (he booked over 170 last season) and might not be able to take you, but he will refer you to the best Captain's available...

Go East young man & hire Captain Ernie on the Fish Doctor, he is on the Kings daily. Oswego, his port is also very close to deep water approximately 1 mile out you hit nearly 100' of water & it drops about 100' per mile if you keep going North North West (330 degrees on the compass).
