The Lake trout and the Salmon have been showing in larger numbers. Mainly

an the strong low's or storm fronts rolling in! Fishing 3 - 8 ft off bottom near drop offs. For salmon 6 - 15 foot under the ice with medium to small emerald shiners.

Lake ice conditions vary greatly so talk to someone at the local bait shop and test the ice as you go!

You know it! Even a bad day on Lk Geoge is better than a good day elsewhere!

Lakers to 8 lbs and some 4 -6 lb Landlocks. Early and late ice the best!

They taste great over a wood fire in the campgrounds fire place. Helps break the monotony of the cold and wind now and then.
