==================

I have been a long time reader of the posting on LOU. I am just 1 of a group of guys that travel to the St. Lawrence for a week long fishing trip every year. This year willmark our 10th year and the trip is becoming a bit challenging with families and careers. I tend to read LOU as the trip draws closer and find the advice and techniques helpful. We will be stayingon Grindstone for our third consecutive year and love all that the TILT and the St. Lawrence river has to offer.

Any tips for monster pike will be greatly appreciated.

...I am well over my 10,000 casts and am ready for the elusive Esoxx......

If you need a llllloooooooonnnnnnngggggg cast for pike and a good lure, you cant beat a 3/4 oz little cleo in silver or silver/blue. Not sure about this on the st. lawrence but works in the big o'

Welcome aboard esn6! Glad to have ya :yes::beer: I to try to make it up to the Islands at least once a year with the family. I have had good luck in the past casting some of those double jointed X-Raps (Perch Color). They suspend nicely and can worked fast or slow depending on the time of year and temp of the water. Seemed to produce fish when the old standby Dare Devils couldn't. Worth the extra buck to put at least one in your box.
