With spring right around the corner, it's time to get ready. Where does everyone buy their mono from? I have been running Ande 20lb mono for rigger rods and other common stuff, and my bulk spool is now empty, so I need to replace it. I bought this last spool at Gander, but it seems as though they no longer carry bulk mono.

Where does everyone buy their mono?

Check out Great Lakes Tackle Shop. Its owned/run by Capt. Pete Alex (Vision Quest) and he's a sponsor of this site. His ad is to the left <----

I know for a fact he has a TON of GAMMA Coplymer and Fluorocarbon.

I would try Narby's located in Oak Orchard. If Sharon doesn't have what you need on hand, there is a good chance she can find it someplace ,probably for a decent price. Big chain stores don't have much of a selection these days, and sadly don't seem to give a crap that the y don't.

Usually I buy from Cabela's or Bass Pro. Sometimes EBay will have what you need at a good price.

I buy bulk spools of Maxima Ultragreen and have to buy it at Bass Pro.

Seaguar Flouro for fly's and leader material I buy at Xtackle, they carry it ALL and always in stock. I use Seaguar for salmon and walleye fishing on Erie, Ontario and in the rivers for steelies so I use and go through alot of it.
