A friend of mine was just over to my house and said that he heard that all dogs onboard a vessel has to have a pfd on. Does anyone know if this is true?

Musky - Only between Nov 1st & May 1st. :D

Actually no NYS law requiring it. However, must be an adult pooch to operate the boat.

Wasnt it a little early to be hitting the bottle?

4:32pm early? He's been at it since he woke up :o;)

I know Bob that when I used to take my dog out with me all the time back in the 90's to around 2001 I never had him in a PFD and the coast guard never gave me a hard time or a ticket at all :whew: and I would run into them at the docks quite a bit.

I may have to put em on my dogs. The older husky/shepherd loves to swim and the younger one don't know to stay in the boat!! :D:D

When the younger one was six months old I decided to take him for a ride in the truck on a nice sunny day. Went around a corner about 300 yds from the house and he decides to jump out the window!!!! Lucky for him I was only doing about 10 mph. If you can't tell by now, he is just a wee bit special! :D:D:D
