Sub Troll Wire Question

Hi,

I have a Moor Subtroll that I'm putting on a Cannon downrigger with a 6' boom and w/12 # balls. I know Moor has a heavier cable they sell and was wondering if the standard wire is enough or should I go with the heavier wire?

Looking for advice.

Bob - You have to go heavier than 12 Lb with the heavier cable. I had a lot of problems with blow back & that weight. I ended up taking it off.

I run 12# on my Sub-Troll with the standard wire.
