i know this is sold but can you tell me if this really helps in catching fish i have one but i have never tried it out

We only used it when we where lake trout fishing and it seem to help, but I went through my boat and checked for any voltage leaks, other wise you could be deafeating the purpose.

I had the Scotty Black Box and I never found much of a difference in my boat. Who knows, maybe it is just my natural talent that turned the fish off.
