fished with" blood bath" on the south end . steady pick all day. lakers were out in 150' two points up from salt plant. lemon lime Echip with costom big weenie fly was there favorite. boat traffic at salt plant thinned out after the rain and wind started so we changed over to R&R spoons and stick baits to chase the land locks(this is where we spotted the bait ball heading north). no "hot" spoon or stick just a steady pick. still had problems with auto-pilot but" blood bath" figured it out ..two broken wires inside the cover of the flux-gate compass. not sure if I broke them or they just came loose...hope to get them fixed before next outing, boat ran fine(thanks Hannifin's)
