look on expedia.com Your closest city on the North end would be Geneva, but Waterloo is also close to Geneva. Watkins (south end) now has a large hotel right on the water with a local marina that you may be able to leave your boat at. Those are the largest towns in the area with hotels, search what suits your fancy......

watkins has at least 4 motels, all within two min of the water
