778 Hummingbird

I'am looking to buy a new fishfinder. Does anyone have info if the 778 hummingbird or any other brand will track your down riggers balls? Sonar unit only, willing to spend up to $600.00 Thanks Mike

I would make sure too get one that has at least 4000 peak power any thing less and you would be able to track balls more than 50 down. I have had 2 Hummin birds and they are very dependable and easy to use.
