I haven't fished the Oswego River for walleyes since I was a kid back in the late '50s. They disappeared for quite a few years due to river polution, but have come back now that the water has cleaned up some.

I hear that they now have "Walleye Boat Parades" in the harbor most evenings while the run is on. Can someone tell me when that is roughly?

Thanks,

Jim

they start at midnight on the opener in may and troll mostly at night w/ large stickbaits (j-11 raps and bigger). its no secret to most and you are right, hop in line and dont stop or u may get rear-ended. lasts until late may-june from what i hear.

Thanks for the information Zach.

I don't have a boat to to join the parade with, but do want to try off the shore.

Good fishing,

Jim
