Share Your Torpedo Diver Success?

O-k, so I bought a couple of Torpedo Divers over the winter (Cuda and Musky). I have visited the Torpedo Diver site and watched all of the videos. But I'm still a little curious to hear what has been successful for others. If you ran these last year, what was successful for you? What did you run with them? Is this more of a late-morning presentation (stealth)? Braid? Mono? Should I be at all concerned that my $20 weight may fall off my line just using the provided clip?

Another tool for the toolbox you can use it with any line or even with a short copper or leadcore. I had days where it was outstanding. and I havent lost one YET... Get creative

I've used a pair of the Cuda's a couple times when my dipsy & riggers were dead & the coppers were doing a few fish. I got a few fish that way. Like everything else there is a learning curve to these things and I'm not very far up the curve yet. The red off shore releases should not come off if you are careful to place the line behind the pin just like using a snap weight. Has anybody tried painting these things black? I realize that they are easier to see as they are but wonder if adding a bit more stealth would help?

Red first turns brown then black by about 30' and is the first color out of the spectrum under water.
