long pond. cranberry, braddocks

taken kids out tommorrow no school so are the perch still in close to shore for some bobber fishing or should i head for pwder mill for some fingerlings just looking for some info to keep the kids smileing, any help would be great

My dad hit long pond today and caught 8 perch, the day before ( as usual ) it is reported that 80 were caught. So, I guess it's hit or miss. That's all I have for you.

I have been out at Long Pond the last 3 days and today was the best for me. steady bites. Caught about 20 and kept 15 perch and 2 bullhead. All on flathead minnows, both with or without a bobber.

did lousy no fish on fri and 1 small perch today kids didnt last to long used worms and minnows.

sometimes the piers are good too for pan fish keep the kids busy

yes long pond both days just moved down to a different area. needed more room for kids to cast and get away from a few loud beer drinking fools who had been there since morning. if you know what I mean.
