to the gentilmen that we tangled up your inline planner lines. very sorry for this !! anyway here's the report. went out of clute, west side, heading north.couldn't get a rod to move untill we passed the salt plant and slid out to 320'. wires were out 270/280 with white/green dot spinny and big weenie fly.several double came of this presentation. filled or limit with six of the biggest (4-6 lbs.) then slid in with smithwick rattling rouge off the board. ran all spoons off the riggers. took our two l.l.'s off the board and took two browns off the spoons (R&R custom blk./red dot) first day with a "working" auto pilot and it was great to be able to have two people on board with doubles on and never have to touch the steering wheel!!!!funny thing is when we tangled lines with a boat going the opposite way the auto pilot was in standby, this little mishap cost me a flasher fly and taught the guy i was fishing with to look for little yellow things with a red flag that run off the side of other boats.not sure the total numbers of fish but it was a fun filled day!! be back on the water sat. fishing with rod keyser and son..... time to clean the boat.... GOD bless rollie
