planner board mast

I saw over the weekend planner mast that looked like they mounted on the side of the boat like in a rod holder or out rigger bracket. anyone know of such thing or a site for them? thanks.

big john makes them in single reel form they clamp on rails etc.

Did you see them on someones boat? I have my reels mounted on Traxstech net holders in the forward position of my side tracks. The tow line then runs to the mast on the bow and out. Most of the big rod holder manufacturers make single masts that you can mount in tracks or thru-bolt to mount on each side.

yes they were on a boat running along side us the fist sat after opening near russles. if any one has a link to a side mount mast let me know. what i could make out of it, it seemed he hadf the single mast on each side slid into a rod holder pointed out.
