When tying your otter boat, does the 14 by 9 pretty much work or should I shorten up the back so they pull out a little harder? Has anyone just drilled and put an eye in the side and hook dorect???

I think you need the rope, but some guys that pull heavy copper on hear should have the measurments to use. I need them myself I am replacing my cord. Sean

Rollie do you redrill both holes 1/2 towards back of board? and are you moving the holes for the tow line or the weight? Thanks Sean

9" from the front to the knot 14 " from the back to the knot according to Big John.

You drill your holes 3/4 of an inch from center to center lower on the board (towards the bottom) straight down from the originals. Sean this is for the tow line holes

They will pull like hell.
