rod and i snuck out for an hour and a half this evening. managed one laker..weather was nice then dropped 20 degrees in muntes...

Nice job for a quick trip. I noticed that drop in temps as well as soon as you drop down into town. I think I recognize that point in the background I lost some gear there last summer

thats too bad. maybe i should drag bottom and see if i can find it, were you riding the shore and the depth come up kinda fast on ya???

Some thing like that Still not as bad as some other points on that lake. Thats okay we have to keep the fish gods happy with peace offerings once in awhile

The shorelines on these finger lakes are tricky. A couple seconds of day dreaming at the wheel and your donating tackle to the bottom, or at least pullin up and cleaning the Zebra mussels off. There must be 6" of mussels lining the bottom of the lake!!

Great to get out, even for just a short trip.

The evening was just too nice to waste indoors!

And we didn't get the skunk scent on the boat either

i hear ya! i dont think the south end is as bad with mussels as the north end is though.
