Rochester shore trout

Anyone know if/where/how the shore fishing is now for Brown trout near Rochester? Buying a house, so the $$ needed for getting my boat in the water with important repairs is tied up right now.

all the piers are decent or kayaks are a cheap and easy alternative

So far this year, ( i ran only three trips ) it has not been the usual crazy bites as the early spring typically has. There has been some 2 and 3 year old browns, some nice cohoes, and bonus keeper atlantic salmon. (10 to 12 lbs) The usual cookie cutter browns have not been present as normal so far. I am a little worried as to the possibilities of what is going on with those fish. None the less right now i would get your

house squared away, and wait for better bites. Maybe tommorow, next week????????

Thanks, Bruce. Got the itch real bad, maybe I'll just go tool around Canadice/Hemlock in the Otter boat then. Hope to be closing by mid-May, moved in by Mid-July. I gotta get in some fishing or I may go postal!!

i agree with bruce, ive been out trollin a few times in the yak followin all the captains guidance but with no luck ive seen a few pulled up but not like it used to be

Some days are better than others, keep after them. Imo the east wind generally sucks
