honda will not start

I have a 2007 15 honda four stroke with electric start and pull start. I can pull start the engine but not with the key, it make a buzzing noise like it's not getting enough power. Can it be a bad solenoid or starter ? Last year at the end of the season i started having problems, sometimes it would start and sometimes it wouldn't.

It could be a bad connection robbing power or a weak battery. Discount this before moving on to those possibilities.

Have plenty of power the battery starts the main engine . I cleaned up the connection to the battery.

Try disconnecting the power leads and use a set of jumper cables direct to the battery. If that doesn't work then look at the solenoid, etc.

It might be worn brushes or a dead spot in the starter motor. Seems kind of new for that to happen.

Check the kill switch, not that I've done it before.

Thanks guys for the input found out the problem, it ended up being the ground wire. It had a break in it. Ready to go come on May first.
