Long story short, I have a brand new bimini top on my Trophy. While trailering last week I thought I had the top secured tightly however a gust of wind disagreed. Now I have a clean break in the aluminum support railing for the bimini. Is there any way to repair aluminum poles or do I have to suck it up and replace the railing on the month old top already?

Thanks

they make a sleeve, that all you do is tighten the set screws as well. i have had to do this before as well.. good luck.

I have taken a wooden dowel on the inside and then get a electrical conduit coupler from Home Depot for under 2 bucks. the coupler has set screws on it like mentioned above. This works great. I am on my 3rd year with it and theres no signs of weakness

Thanks again everyone. I ended up ponying up the $50 for a new set. It was cheaper than I thought it would be.
