auto pilots

[Feelin Reel]

looking for some opinions on auto pilots. What to buy, which ones are user friendly, price. Going on a 24" Thompson.

Jim what kind of steering do you have. The Garmin GHP -10 I just put on my boat is great and very user friendly. Its not cheap but it works at any speed, with GPS and its own compass. It also has shadow drive so if you turn the wheel when the autopilot is on then hold the wheel steady the autopilot takes over at the new heading. Sean

Sean, I've heard good things about the garmins, How pricey are they? My steering is hydralic.
