SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Got on the water about 9;30 out of I Bay, ran west to the river and set up.trolled east in mud line, no hits. pulled out a gold and green R-R tried to put it in release fish on, nice steel 30ft back. Hooked up on the board for a double, steel, orange bomber back 130ft.put out a orange crush,bloody nose 100ft. back, another steel off the board. Six more off the rigger,pink- orange Alpina Diamond 20-30ft.back,2-6ft, down. The fish came in the green water east of the mud. All fish hit on a east troll,rigger was set in the prop wash. Temp 51-52deg. Mike.

those are probably coho salmon...they have been hangin in that patch of water for awhile

Chartoose,I've caught a ton off steelhead and I'm sure I can tell the difference.I did have one on that I thought might have been but it got off.I went out this morning with salmon in mind but didn't get any.

this is a coho (90%sure)caught monday morning about 930 am just west of the beach house, 8 foot of water, on a darker brown trout spotted repela. didnt put in a fishing report, first time on t he computer since the iphone fell in the drink. ISNT early to be catching them this far west this time of year?

I don't like to admit this guys but you were right, there coho's. I checked out the remains. I think the wind screwed up that pocket of warm water off the river,I found a small pocket of 5odeg.water and picked up a nice atlantic. That's it for today.
