Is anybody running leaders off there main line or just using light lines for the browns? and what size?

i use leaders,6-8ft long flourocarbon.beats having to bring 50 different rods if you want to switch to salmon in the afternoon with the heavier tackle.

I agree. 30lb. test Trilene Big Game on all reels, 12lb. flouro. leaders in the spring, then switch to 20lb. for riggers later on in the season.
