Hughes Report Anyone?

I am heading out of Hughes tomorrow at daybreak. Anybody have any word on fishing here? I have not seen or heard much yet this season. I was out there 3 weeks ago, but there was little activity. If anyone has anything to report, I am all ears.

I am on a small boat, so I am only set up for flatlining near shore.

I was out Wednesday (4/21) at daybreak. fished till 11:30am and only caught 2 browns on black and silver rapalas. they came as a double. (fun when your by yourself lol) I thru a bunch of colors at them but no other luck. water temp was 48 with a few pockets of 49 right on shore.

Was intrested to see folks out deeper. 70 plus feet running boards. Temp on the surface was still 48. Steelhead maybe?

Fished Saturday, 4/24. I ended up with one brown about 2 pounds. That was it. Fished from sunrise to noon. There were quite a few boats out, but they were all over the place from shore to miles out. Talked to another boat that landed two for three. Saw two other boats land a fish. Everything looked small. Not sure when I can get out again.

It was still a great day on the water. Probably too calm and clear.
