SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Went out friday afternoon and finally found the prespawn bass and was able to hook up 3 nice largemouths with a couple rock bass thrown in. Did much the same as wednesday, fishing weedlines, reeds, and breaks in the reeds. Best fish of the night came at about 7:30 on a fluke in fairly heavy cover in a nice pocket in the reeds, taking a slow twitching presentation. The bass seem to be stacked up in pockets and coves as well as breakes on the reedline, hitting hard and taking the lures deep. My first bass even took a fluke topwater :) The key for me was making good casts to pockets and banging off and aroung cover. My biggest bass in the pic below was approx. 2.5 lbs and 16-18 inches.
