stony creek launch?

With the almost closed sandy pond channel i am looking for another boat launch close. Does anyone know the water level of stony creek. I have a 22' penn yan that draws 16" Does anyone know of any other ramps near sandy pond? Thanks, Joe

Not sure if you will make it out of stoney creek. I was out of there about 3 weeks ago and we almost didnt get out with a 17 ft starcraft. We had to trim the motor up and in spots I would say there wasnt much more than 6-7 inches of water.

was told i couldnt run my 23' sport craft out of stony.... i would either go up to the launch in henderson harbor or to mexico point depending which way you want to travel

wouldnt try it, i had to really pay attention 4 days ago and i have a 17ft lund aluminum

My parents have a cottage on the shallow side with my father being there every weekend. if you know the channel through the creek (marina to the boat launch thats unmarked) you can get out, if you dont, right now i wouldnt

I went out of there this weekend with a 22' sportcraft outbourd and is wasn't pretty. If you can stay right in the channel you can do it but a little one way and your in the mud

How about lighthouse marina at the mouth of the big Salmon about 7 miles south of sandy pond? I go out of Pine Grove all the time in my 17', it would be tight with your 22'. When I passed lighthouse last week docks were not it and it was boarded up. Don't know if thye are opening htis year?

dont launch there with a big boat youll rip your axels right off your trailer on the pull out. that lauch needs some serius attention. the lighthouse that is.
