Down Riggers

Have you ever noticed most down riggers have a counter that goes to 999'.

Now I would love to know which down rigger will carry that much cable ?

the counters on Cannons are actually made by veeder root , which were orginally made for analog gas pumps , I have a friend that works at Veeder root that got me a few one time .....just one of those unimportant useless bits of trivia......
